Mike IS FREAKING OUT and he is the one who breaks thru vecnas control on Will and helps him go back to normal.

There is no motivation for me to uncollapse the reblog chain—it looks like a boring conversation about the denominations of coins. And even if I do uncollapse it, you’ve ruined the joke by showing me the punchline before the setup. Reblog chains are the best thing about Tumblr. They are your unique super power. They are the thing that makes people screenshot Tumblr and share it around. Why on earth would you kneecap them??
I don’t know exactly how you plan to implement this. Give people the option to keep them collapsed if there truly are people who are annoyed by how long they can get (you already have a version of this feature), but don’t collapse them for everyone or new users by default. Please. It will make Tumblr so much more boring.

like people hated Ballister from the jump for being a commoner… despite that the majority of them are commoners themselves. and his story is well-publicized, he wanted so desperately to be a knight and to protect the Kingdom, and he was given that chance, spent years training… only to then blow it all on the day he would’ve achieved that dream on a very public assassination? it doesn’t actually make sense when you think about it for more than a minute
and we see it again later - Ambrosius buys into the Director’s lie about Nimona impersonating her despite that he found Ballister’s sword in her office, and he never once thinks to question why Nimona would even need to frame Ballister in such an elaborate way (if she’s this so-called monster, why not just impersonate him and do it that way. or, if she is indeed Gloreth’s monster, why wait 1000 years to do anything? and why do something as small-scale as ‘bust a guy out of prison and only really cause property damage and minor injury’? or hell, why would Nimona purposely frame Ballister and then impersonate the Director to try and clear his name?)
faith in the Institute is so ingrained that no one is ever inclined to think or question anything; just do what the people in charge of you tell you, believe what they tell you to believe, and we won’t have a problem
“writers deserve attention more than actors” literally only 2% of actors can pay the bills with acting. For every megastar on screen there are a dozen other people in the shot who are SAG. Acting gets so glamorized but there are SO MANY people in SAG who NEED residuals to live on. Background Party Girl #4 needs her check too!!!! There are people who play recurring characters on syndicated shows who cant afford health insurance!!! Ke Huy Quan gave an oscar winning performance and LOST HIS HEALTH INSURANCE the next year.
Y’all, the Archive admins are made up of VOLUNTEERS. And they have been working for 12-13 HOURS STRAIGHT.

EDIT: How do we show appreciation to the volunteers? For me reading these deep dives on OTW issues u guys apparently it’s been said multiple times that one of their objective statements is to have paid staff for ao3 and there’s a surplus of donations they haven’t used up or the other community solutions that needs to address. For those more financially literate feel free to analyze, snipe me or add to the discussion etc. linked here by deepa. They’re cool and these yearly analysis they did aint no joke.
